Safeguarding is a top priority at St. Cuthbert's Catholic Primary School. All school staff have Level 1 training annually and we have a team of staff who are trained to Level 3.
Miss Holden is the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL.) She is always available to speak to anyone who is concerned about a child. Mrs Handford is the Deputy DSL.
Dr Gareth Smoth is the Governor with responsibility for Safeguarding. He can be contacted via the school office.
If you think a child is at immediate risk of harm, you must call the Police urgently on 999.
You can ring the Safeguarding Hub on 0333 240 1727 to seek advice or speak to a Social Worker to report a concern.
